Tournaments in poggers are divided into two parts:-

Live Tourneys are run and completed on the same day.

Multi-Day tourneys is where each round will move in 8 days time. You don’t need to be here at the start of the tourney compared to Live Tourneys. You will only need to find the player you are up against and play him/her in the time given. (Adding him/her to your messenger list is an easy way to locate players)

In live tourneys, there will be a TD ( Tournament director ) that will announce rounds and will tell you who is your opponent to play with .. TD will report the games

Every tournament has its own entry fee and rewards. You can see details about every specific tournament in tournament section

Tournaments also has its own rating and standings system .. There is a reset of tournaments section every month and top (tourney winners and tourney participants) will be rewarded extra ( poggers coins ).
